"A lovely guest house, with a very pleasant and accommodating owner. Our room, although fairly small, was clean and comfortable. We were given access to a lovely sitting room and, as we were the only guests staying at the time, we really appreciated that we could just put our pj's on and relax in front of a roaring log burner. To add to the experience, we were told to help ourselves to some lovely single malt whiskey, which was a lovely touch. Only one of us drinks alcohol and I really enjoyed the 'wee dram'. Breakfast was excellent, complete with home-made jams and marmalade. We opted for a lighter breakfast of eggs, from the owners chickens which were lovely. After days travelling and indulging in the full Scottish breakfast, a simple breakfast was a real treat. We would highly recommend the guest house. Thank you."

"Staff were friendly and welcoming. The hotel is in a good location with the option of some parking spaces or on-street parking which is free between 5pm and 10am. Our room was modern, bright and well appointed. We had a room at the front of the property with a good view of the harbour and hills in the distance. Overall a very enjoyable stay."

"Cruachan Holiday Home is a superb property for a vacation stay. The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished with all the amenities required for a very very comfortable stay. The large property with its garden and the views are gorgeous. The property management was at all times very very responsive and helpful.
