"Very high end. Just need small upgrades. Like the mirror, more information on local attractions, a bike rack, a heater for the pool, and a bigger bar so I don’t annoy bother the higher end people. Also, try and silence the rooms better. Suggestion door seals, bigger Air registers and happy hour specials some barbecue outside with a chef and one man band."

"The Francis Marion is a magnificent, historical beauty. I loved staying there and would again. The staff was incredible. The room and property were impeccably clean. The lobby is magnificent. The LOCATION IS UNBEATABLE. For the age of the building, I was very impressed with the updates and cleanliness. My only negatives would be that I feel like the elevators could be updated, as well as the toilets. The toilets were very odd and the bowls were scraped up looking like mold. I actually tried to scrape it off and it was just wear, not mold, but looked very unsightly. I feel like they could overhaul a couple of things and it would make a huge difference in this hotel. These items would not make me not stay there in the future however. The cleanliness and staff made up for those issues. I also loved that there is a nice restaurant in the hotel."

"Can’t say enough wonderful things about the lady who checked me in. Her name is Celeste. So positive. Uplifting. Kind. Personable. Said “Welcome to our little hamlet.” Amazing customer service. That sort of mindset goes a long way. Had a great stay at this hotel. Great location. But her kind words and great attitude were icing on the cake. Thank you. Made my day."
