"Very nice and convenient stay within the Golden Circle. Midpoint between Thingvellir and Geysir/Gullfoss. The hotel is nice and they offer permanent station of tea, coffee and hot chocolate which are always a plus. The Laugarvatn Lake is right behind the hotel, making it a nice view for certain rooms. I would stay here again if I was ever back in the area."

"A unique property! We had dinner, and later ice cream with a window into the cows having their dinner. Very cool! Room was immaculate and the staff were very helpful."

"We had a perfect short stay, and would have loved to stay longer if our itinerary allowed. Everything was perfect and clean, as if we were the first visitors. We are a family of 6 with 4 children, and were hesitant if the kids would feel comfortable next door to us. It worked out perfectly. Clean and cozy! Bonus: We were able to see the Northern Lights even though it was a cloudy night. "

"Very basic hostel style setup. No extra amenities. Shared bathrooms which are generally clean. Hard to find someone to help if you have issues. Lonely location with nothing nearby. Breakfast is included and it's basic stuff but welcome nevertheless."

"This place is magical! The lodge has everything you could need. The hot tub and sauna are amazing! The heated floors throughout felt amazing! Loved all the little touches. It was super clean and the beds were very comfortable! The shower was super hot. The space is well done. The best part is the views! Sleeping under the stars and seeing some northern nights was a dream!!! Waking up to a gorgeous sunrise was another wonderful bonus. Just looking at the views of the snow covered mountains...

"The instructions were not accurate in getting into the unit and it took pver 15 min to get in. The bedding was dirty and looked used. There was zero heat and was very very cold. The hot tub was not filled and warm and when i asked i was given a rude explanation on it and that thw instructions in the unit would explain. They didnt. They were not able to fix the heat and i had 2 seniors and a child ao we had to bundle up. So not worth the money. "
