"We stayed here just as a stop over and it was a very small and low double bed in a huge room. It wasnt the cleanest so I was glad I had slippers with me. Shower ceiling was too low for a 6'2 person so my partner had to crouch. The main parts of the hotel looked nice on arrival, but we didnt make use of it. Nice and quiet despite the location."

"Very dirty room, the floor was covered in dust and debris, there was toothpaste splashed on the bathroom walls and hairs in the sink. The pub was lovely but the room cleanliness needs serious improvement. "

"The house itself was in a state of disarray and full of damp, which made the stay unpleasant. Additionally the service and communication from the owner was completely subpar; I had mistakenly left some clothes at the house and within 2-hours of checking out I had contacted Expedia customer service who spoke to the owner and confirmed that someone had moved in but the ownerr would email me on Saturday, 2-days later. The owner did not email me. I waited a further 5-days before contacting Expedia again who gave me the owners number, who was increasingly obstructive. I gave solutions to pick up my clothes same day, on the weekend and weeks later however he kept finding problems and asking to contact him later. It is now 5 weeks after my stay, and I still haven’t got my clothes back and the owner is no longer picking up my calls. Would have strongly recommended not staying here even without this issue but the customer service is beyond pathetic."

"Good location. Clean and tidy apartment. The parking lot is small for a Volvo XC60. Neighbours smoking, don't open the balcony doors if you do not like the smell of cigarette smoke. "

"Convenient location for a couple of days exploring Lancaster. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Our car was too wide for the parking area, but street parking was fine. "
