"Overall the hotel very modern, clean, great location. I booked a 'City View' room with balcony but was given a back of hotel room with balcony on floor 1 that looked over the restaurant exhaust system and walls. When I asked for a different room they weren't able to accommodate. I did ask for a restaurant dinner voucher for two which they reluctantly obliged. The breakfasts and the dinner was excellent at their hotel restaurant!"

"Cannot recommend Townhouse 17 enough! From the facilities, location and cleanliness to, most importantly, the wonderful staff in the restaurant downstairs, everything was fantastic. The staff were so friendly, accommodating and genuinely went above and beyond to make my stay special. I was also fortunate enough to experience both lunch and dinner at the restaurant, and I have to give that a 5-star rating too! I brought others family members from their hotel for breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were also very impressed. If I’m lucky enough to return to the island, I’ll definitely be staying here again. Highly recommended!"

"Loved the island of Gozo! I would book this place again as we decided Gozo is the place to be. No frills when it comes to amenities, the tea in the room was a nice touch. Small, clean, safe, decorated well. Felt like home for the couple days I was traveling. Impressed."

"The place is pristine. The staff is beyond amazing. Extremely helpful and they trip over themselves to help you. Extremely friendly. I spent 2 weeks there and believe me they treated me like I am their son. Amazing people. If you try to complain about something good you will find it impossible. The place is perfect. It is so clean that you can literally eat of the floor. I highly recommend this place. You will never regret it"

"I had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel was very clean and well maintained, which made the stay comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist whenever I needed anything. I really appreciated the level of service and how welcoming the staff were throughout my stay. Overall, a nice place to stay with a team that genuinely tries to make guests feel comfortable."

"The Carob B&B is an absolute must-stay in Gozo! Matthew and Clementa have clearly poured their hearts and souls into creating such a relaxing, welcoming atmosphere from arrival to departure. It’s the perfect sanctuary. You can spend the day exploring the island and then unwind by the pool. The location is great: it’s an easy 15 minute walk into central Victoria, though in the summer heat, taking the 306 bus down the road or calling a Bolt is super convenient. Our room had a breathtaking view from the balcony, and our only regret was not booking a longer stay. I’d recommend staying at least three nights to really take in Gozo. We will be recommending The Carob to friends and family and hope to return ourselves soon!"

"Great location, could not be better in fact. The farm house is situated in the beautiful old town, close to a lot of restaurants, shops and the bus station of Victoria is close.Smooth check in and check out. Unfortunately, during this period, this is a very hot accommodation to stay in. The kitchen and dining area that is in the open air is extremely warm and humid (around 35 degrees). The two bedrooms have great ac that are coin-operated.The furniture is a bit old and worn and the barbecue on the roof terrace is broken. Nice place to stay at, but next time we would choose another time of the year."

"This is a beautiful property! Lots of space, well furnished, and everything was easy. We would have liked to know in advance exactly where it was, because we felt a little lost without that as we approached Kercem, but with Maria's directions we got there no problem in the end. If you dislike heat an plan to go in the middle of summer, read on: The AC was only in the main bedroom and on a coin meter (we didn't try it because there was a great fan). However, do know that old farmhouses aren't built to stay entirely cool in 100 F degree weather. It reached 109 (43ish) when we were there. Without AC throughout the house, it was hot! But that was unseasonable weather. The fans did some good work, but it was still hot. When you choose this age of house, this is what you get :-) Also, if you go in July, be prepared for fireworks **night and day** as the island's villages celebrate their festivals. Not the time to visit if you can't tolerate lots of booms and shaking morning and night (a lot at night, and from 8am onwards). Again, not a problem with the property--the house was great! But important to know nonetheless."
