the room was very clean and fresh . the staff was particularly helpful in that we needed a ground floor room due to my husbands health issues and the lady on duty helped us with that . there’s no elevator at this property . it was very quiet and peaceful

Great view of the river. We had drinks and dinner on the property because it was raining. Staff appreciative of our business. Only negative was the windows coverings in the room were not room darkening so room pretty light all night.

The lady at the front desk was very nice & helpful when we checked in. The hair dryer did not work, & the lady that was behind the front desk in the morning was too busy to help us with getting a new hair dryer. The shower valve was hard to operate & almost falling off. Also, the a/c unit was so noisy that we were not able to use it!! We will not stay at this hotel ever again!! On a good note, the musician in the restaurant was very good & enjoyable!

Room was mostly clean, floors had been quickly cleaned. Bed was pretty comfortable, but on a squeaky metal frame that made noise when one of us moved in bed. We are not huge people, I’m 100lbs and my husband is about 200lbs. There was not a complimentary breakfast like described in hotel website, but they had a cafe that looked subpar and kind of pricey, highly recommend The Riv Cafe. We did have dinner at The Portage Grill on site. We really enjoyed our meals, the restaurant was busy but staff was attentive. Our room was quiet, overall comfortable, I liked the set up of the hotel. I’d stay here again.

Place was clean and modern. No issues with the room. However, the view is not what we expected. You see a dam, a bridge and a highway. The pictures make the view look much better than it is. There is no full breakfast available, just a coffee bar with pastries and the like. The restaurant was not open for breakfast. We ate dinner there and that was fine. The waiter was great! The low rating reflects the poor view from balcony.

This place is great! To be fair, the curb appeal isnt much as you pull in. But once you step through the doors all those feelins melt away. The property is beautifully remodeled. Rooms are clean, and the onsite amenities are great. From the pool, to the bar and restaurant to the lobby, would recommend anyone in the area stay here.

I expected a view of the river but looked out on a parking lot. Also expected breakfast to be included due to the web site stating that it was. Room was very basic. Sink drain didn't work but otherwise OK. Room was clean and bed reasonably comfortable. It was a hot day so appreciated the outdoor pool. Overall an OK place to stay at a reasonable price.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The place appeared clean but the room was propped open when I first got there. Everything appeared to be intact but had a very strong smell of urine. Could not determine a source or specific area it just all smelled of urine.
