Lovely stay. Great view to the beach with easy access. Hotel is located toward the end of the beach which was quiet but yet near everything close by. Convenient with the parking garage right near the hotel.

Lovely stay on beach The hotel, staff and location were excellent Having the tram at your doorstep meant exploring The Hague was easy! So many dining options near by and the breakfast buffet at the hotel was top notch.

I highly recommend this hotel. Lovely atmosphere on a wonderful beach. Tourist areas are quite close by for those that want that, but it is just on the outer edge of the main tourist area, which appeals to us. A 15 minute tram ride to the city center and the train station, so a very easy commute to explore downtown as well.

A great hotel in a perfect location. The staff is helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. The hotel is located in Scheveningen overlooking the beach and the North Sea. The tram and bus to take you into the city center are conveniently located right on the corner ,1 block away. The Scheveningen promenade is right at the hotel doorstep. Lots of great restaurants are within walking distance.

Carlton beach

All the family rooms are on the 1st floor with no view of the ocean. Bunk beds have been nicely fitted out but it’s a shame they cannot offer a sea view to family’s. Our view was of a tram stop with trams stopping every 5 minutes so it wasn’t very pleasant and not what we had in mind (or anyone ) when booking a beach hotel. The hotel is not cheap so I feel this should be made clear at booking it feels like if travelling as a family you are relegated to the back of the hotel. Breakfast was nice, fresh made waffles, bacon and eggs with a nice view. Swimming pool was fine, extra charges to use the sauna though which I thought is poor form. Great location near the beach and lots of restaurants and things to do.

The hotel has been recently modernised which is great but unfortunately the hotel has lost some of it's charm as a result. The money could have been better spent on improving the lifts and the general hotel shared spaces
