"Avoid at all costs. This property charged me $1,000 without any warning, accusing me of shattering a bathroom glass that they later found broken. I was given no evidence, no proof, and no opportunity to properly dispute the claim. I was absolutely not responsible for the damage, yet I was treated as if I was guilty by default. I am astonished by how unprofessional and unfair the management handled this situation. A reputable hotel should investigate properly and communicate transparently with its guests before imposing such a significant charge. I will never stay at this property again and will make sure to share my experience with friends, family, and fellow travelers so they can make an informed decision before booking. Extremely disappointing experience and a complete lack of customer service. Please avoid it for your own sanity."

River Home 2-bed House on river Dog Friendly + Loft

"Booked this place last minute for one night. The location and proximity to the river with backyard access was absolutely the highlight of the property. It was great having the river view and the access. The yard is just exposed dirt with scattered toys. It’s not landscaped or cared for. The cabin is older and needs some love. It’s not in the best condition. I feel like it could use a deep clean around the property, since random junk was under the deck and in the yard. That being said, it’s a really unique property, with tons of potential, interesting features, and as noted, the river access. The upstairs loft was awesome, but the bed smelled of urine. I have a very keen sense of smell and as I got into bed I could only imagine someone else’s kid wetting that bed previously. The room has a moisture issue at the window, with condensation leading to a mildew odor. The window screen was broken and not secured at the frame, and just sat in the window, in disrepair. Not a huge deal, but something I noticed. The claw foot tub was great. We brought our dog and selected this property based on allowing pets. The price goes up when you disclose a pet is going, for us, increasing 100/night. Considering my dog is a tiny purse chihuahua, seemed steep to me. But a lot of folks have large unruly dogs, so from a rental business perspective, it makes sense. The parking is tight in this neighborhood. Garage is tight. Would book again, possibly."

"The room was right along the road and you could hear traffic all night long. Even using a speaker with background noise, it was very loud in the room. We did not get any sleep that night. The room was cutely decorated, but you could tell it was done a few years back. There was dust on the ceiling fan fixture, the blades and any surface. The room really needs a deep cleaning. The A/C in the room had the filter so covered in dust we were afraid to turn it on. The microwave wants to fly off the shelf when you try to open the door. Overall it’s not too bad of a place to stay for a cheap rate. Definitely do not get a room by the road!!! I’d stay again just for the price but I don’t sit in my room when I go places like Lake Tahoe."

"we arrived after a 9-hour drive expecting to check in at 4:00 pm, but the front desk agent, almost laughing about it, told us they were still waiting for housekeeping to prepare our room. it wasn’t ready until 5:30 pm, and we had plans scheduled just 30 minutes later there were also several other issues: the room didn’t have a proper mirror besides a very small one in the bathroom, and we were given the wrong door code. after returning later, we couldn’t get back into our room because of it unfortunately, based on our experience, i can’t really recommend this hotel"

"The hosts are amazing. Very helpful. Anytime I sent them a message I was replied to within at least an hour or so. The house is amazing. There are so many bedrooms. The kitchen was stocked with spices and other good things. The location is prime. Plenty of bars to walk to and scooters to rent all around. The heated benches by the fire pit were amazing. Really made the experience comfortable and enjoyable"
