"Very nice place!! Super clean has all the supplies. Two kayaks were a bonus. Only wishes were WiFi and maybe air conditioning. Dara was excellent as a host."

"The place is new, clean and well designed for a vacation stay. There are activities for the kids to do and beds are comfortable. The issue we had is that there is no privacy. Because the building itself is so unique looking, all day long people walk right up to it, sometimes right up to the door, taking pictures and thinking it’s a bar or store. We even had people come up and put their face against the window to see inside. If you’re looking for more of a quiet, private UP experience this is not the place. But if you’re not going to be home much during the day it probably wouldn’t affect your stay too much."

"Excellent place to stay in Copper Harbor. The place is awesome, games make it fun for kids, and the host (Mark) is attentive to anything you need. This was our second year back. Great location for making laps down the mountain trails, and quick access to everything in town. Great WiFi as well."

"We loved our time in the UP! So grateful for this space for our family to enjoy the area. We loved the easy access to swim in the lake just by walking down the driveway. The privacy of the space and the overall feel of the house was just what we needed. Our group of 8 (4 adults with 4 kids) was able to use this rental to the full. Rooms were so comfortable and adequate, home was home-y—you can tell the space is theirs when they don’t have it rented out! Thank you, Carla and fam, for sharing your home away from home with us!"

"It simply does not get more romantic or luxurious than the eagle river lighthouse. Virginia Cole is more than reliable, she is proactive, making sure that every little thing is right with your stay from the minute you decide to book until the morning you must sadly check out. You may have some sticker shock but you get what you pay for and more at the Eagle River lighthouse."

"What a wonderful surprise. Anthony, our host was incredible! Mel was awesome too! Immediate responses to any questions and the kindest energy throughout the entire process.The cabin was perfect. Clean, basic, and perfectly located to the beach. Walk outside the cabin, make a left and about 10 steps from the front door you will be able to see the beautiful, crystal clear waters of Lake Superior. Walk 30 seconds down the road and you will be at the beach. Fires roaring right on the shore, a top notch restaurant located inside the hotel Fritz, and miles and miles of Beautiful shoreline to explore in either direction. My boyfriend and I love to camp but our kids didn’t want to, so we put up our tent while they slept inside. A great compromise for different personalities. What we all agreed upon was how amazing the town was, how much there was to do, and sitting by the fire every night roasting marshmallows and laughing until we cried was definitely a much needed break!We were so sad to go home. Definitely will be coming back to stay next year! Or maybe again this year! If you have never been to the UP and want a place to stay where you can experience the full beauty of this magical land! Then this is the perfect little cabin to rent! Thank you Anthony for answering all my many questions! You are a wonderful host!!
