"First let me say if you are looking for a uniform standardized chain hotel experience this is not the place for you. However, if you want a truly unique and amazing stay with history, charm and personality I highly recommend Vineyard Hacienda. The property and the room were spotless, warm and inviting while also a bit quirky. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It’s small, I would guess less than 10 rooms and more like a B&B vibe. It appears to have been a large Spanish Hacienda that was converted to a B&B. I don’t know the age of the property I "

"I hate to say it, and I’ll be the first to admit my standards for this kind of thing are lower than most, but this room was so bad that I checked out and got another room somewhere else 10 minutes after seeing it. The room wasn’t advertised as having a hostel-style shared bathroom and entry space, but I figured it was fine as long as the bathroom door locked - but it didn’t, and that’s just hugely gross and unsafe. The individual bedroom door wouldn’t reliably lock about 70% of the time either, getting stuck constantly. The smoke detectors were all ripped out, none of the outlets worked, the lights flickered, the surfaces were dirty, the bed was gross, and the bedroom itself was barely big enough to spread both your arms out in without hitting either wall. The low price and the comically Mr. Krabs-ian “NO REFUNDS” signage posted repeatedly should have tipped me off, but it’s just ridiculous they would leave even a budget room in this state and expect someone not to balk. I was prepared for a little discomfort so I could save money, but the safety issues that just kept mounting the more I looked were dealbreaking. I lost money in my attempt to save money; the clerk took pity on me and gave my $40 damage deposit back, which I do really appreciate, but their boss wouldn’t let them give me the rest, which is just silly as I was “checked in” for a total of 15 minutes (the clerk hadn’t even finished putting my info in the system by the time I called it quits). Avoid this place!"

"Absolutely beautiful property, with stunning views. The house was clean & very well stocked. Beds were comfortable and the tv had all the options you would want. Great location to everything. Would definitely recommend!"

"We were a group of 12, age range from 1yrs to 82yrs The house was able to provide fun and space for all our party. The pool area was great to soak up the San Diego sun and enjoy time together. The outside entertaining space was fantastic to have family meals together. The double grill gave us lots of cooking choices. The house had plenty of bath towels and swimming towels available. The host Alvin was very prompt answering any questions or quests we had. I would definitely recommend the property to any large group wanting to spend quality time together in a beautiful home."

"Nice clean roomy place. The backyard pool area is stunning. We had reserved this place in the hope of swimming in the pool with grandkids but water was too cold to swim in. Even though there had been a recent heat wave it was cool when we were there and I guess the solar pool heating system does not hold the heat. Be sure to check with host on water temp if you are depending on using the pool. Decor and TVs were dated. Host was very nice. "

"The house was nice and clean. Check in was easy. We got this place because the hot tub and pool. The hot tub had problems. The water was low like almost empty. We contacted the host and they said they would have it checked out and filled. That didn't happen till later in the evening. The property manager was working on it. So later in the evening we wanted to use it , water not hot. The pool was cold as well. The kids still used it , but wasn't warm Other than that everything else was fine. The only other issue we had was the host messaged us saying they got an alert that there was smoking in the house, telling us do not smoke or vape in the house or the property. The issue is we do not smoke or vape at all, never have."
