"Good spot! Some corporate audit was going on, that did not make the stay better. Breakfast at this IHG is always very very Good! Pool is good. Gym is nice! All in all it is a good stay."

"If you are traveling for history and historic beauty this is the place, but like a very old Jaguar, even when restored is going to be a bit...unreliable. The hot water, once you turned on all the taps to get it, lasted three minutes...if you are old or disabled, the stairs are a challenge, the AC struggles to keep the room cool and this is when we are not in a heat wave...no refrigerator to keep your food cool, either. It is a beautiful hotel, but not a practical place...like an old Jaguar."

"This is NOT B&B. The guests have to make the coffee, do the dishes and all you get for breakfast is pastries, fruit and Yogurt. Too many signs...go out the back door and you are locked out. Bedroom light fixture over bed fell off the wall when we tried to adjust it."

"I stayed in the resort July 14th to July 17th, 2026. Before leaving for the trip heavy wildfire smoke set in across the area. Very heavy. Of course I can’t blame the resort for that. The issue is that I called and tried to rebook my reservation for late August. There was zero compromise, zero willingness to work with me and they even went as far as to tell me that there was no smoke there and no warnings about it, when in fact there were both. "The vibe is good, walking distance to the beach is the best part. However, our room was not clean. Our sheets had blood on them and we didn’t notice until the next morning. Our TV was not working either, it would turn on but it would freeze at the welcome page. I paid $600 for this place it’s definitely not worth that much."

"Bed sheets were too small for the bed, there was dirt around the bottom of the tiles in the bathroom. They gave us 2 towels and 2 hand towels, no face clothes. The window frames were gross and no screens on the window and the ceilings were peeling. The rafters they have open in there were split and not that we did it but if someone decided to hang from them they could get hurt. I folded up the sofa bed so we could use the couch and there was dirt all over underneath of it. I would hate to see...
