Our first view of the chateau was from its imposing position on the hillside which could be seen from several kilometres away basking in the evening sun as we approached. "Great holiday at Laubertie with friends and family. Location was very rural which was exactly what we wanted yet not too far to to the shops. Jacques and Monique were charming and very helpful. We could have done with fans in each room as the nights were very hot. SUPERB meal at Logis Auberge de La truffe in Sorges . Another great meal was in Thiviers at L’escapade des Sens ."
