Older hotel that shows its age in some places. The pool and hot tub have a ton of rocks and gravel built up. The surrounding floor is made of a rubber like material that is non slip which is fantastic.

Whether it was air freshener or Febreeze the room was ‘heavily’ scented upon arrival. This triggered some allergic issues. Bed was not comfortable… Shower water faucet is obviously loose behind the wall. If you’re serving the hot breakfast in an attempt to help control covid germs, you should control ALL areas. Seems if guests can make toast or get juice they can probably serve up eggs or make a waffle. The pre-made omelette was gross btw.

The good: Comfortable bed, clean room with good water pressure and temp. The not so good: 30 minute wait to check in without acknowledgement while the single desk person was joking and flirting with one customer needing a reservation; both keys did not work on Day 2 resulting in having to carry everything back down the stairs (no elevator) to get a new key; and despite two conversations at the desk and the promise of leaving notes for the staff on the next day, a ‘mistake’ was made with my back-to-back reservations resulting in someone else being checked in and given access to my unserviced room and belongings while I wasn’t there. I only found out while chatting with the people given access who asked if ### was my room. I was never contacted by the manager about these issues as requested.

After staying in a different AmericInn the night before. This one was a little bit of a let down. The hotel was okay, felt dingy. Hotel staff very nice and helpful and the main lobby looked nice. Rooms were ok and i really heave no complaints, it just felt dingy. We booked the night before our stay and got a room we wanted, easy acess and easy to find. Plenty of restaurants around so that was nice

Not Brutal.. but Not Worth It

Breakfast looks OK.. the Jacuzzi room(s) aren't great. Whole room was really damp -- Door wasn't even closed upon our arrival & the fan was running on high so maybe it was left wet or something. Overall, it wasn't clean.. had to wipe down our own fridge.. counter/desktops.. You get what you pay for in the end -- It's prob worth it to spend 10-20 more to be elsewhere bc i cant see it getting better here. Especially as I booked their most expensive 'top-end' suite on this stay~
