"Wonderful family holidays:One family English/one German.Spacious well-kept house and beautiful spacious grounds:Had family tournaments: Basketball, pingpong, pool Billard.Wonderful sun bathing,small tennis court,had to lovely bbqs in the cozy Finnish grill hut.10 minutes by car to beautiful town Saint Omer plus bakery shop/butchers shop/pharmacy at 10 minutes on foot. Very nice hosts, always approachable and flexible:Wonderful spontaneous help in a small medical emergency. Thank you for lovely holidays Mr.Jude, it was a pleasure meeting you and your family!"

"The chateau is beautiful, the staff are really friendly, and the rooms are amazing. We had a great time and will definitely be returning on our next trip through France - look forward to when the spa is finished. "

"The accommodation was clean bedrooms were lovely and Tv was a definite bonus. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep and small which could be an issue for older people or people with larger feet!. Although I paid a cleaning fee a list of to do chores before you leave were left, strip beds sweep floors which I found a little unreasonable. Wittes is very quiet the only restaurant was shut for the week but chez Max and Gwen was open don’t let the outside appearance put you off the food was lovely x The gite is also on a busy main road which can be quite noisy from very early morning this we did not expect as it is a rural area."

"It was a very nice, quiet location. We enjoyed the place, lots of room. there were some nice places that the owner recommended to go to. (pizza place and a bakery) However a few things stood out, that potential renters should know: 1. The deposit is 1500 euros, but they don’t have a credit card machine. So it’s by bank transfer. This is a hassle and the money isn’t returned right away when you leave. We are over a day later and still not returned. If you don’t have 1500 euros at your disposal to wait on getting back, this isn’t for you. 2. There were no towels or wash clothes. Bring your own. 3. It is a renovated farm house or barn, there is a bit of a smell inside. Not sure if it was just renovated, the smell might go away over time. But biggest disappointment was the deposit. If we hadn’t booked last minute or if it we were able to cancel, we probably would have."
