"We booked and paid for this property only to be told by Catherine the local property mgr (not Holidu) a day before we departed the U.S. (and only after WE'D called her for another reason) that she was moving us to a different property, as this house had construction going on. We were given no choice in the matter and it was so last minute that we agreed to go to the new site. When we arrived we were upset to find a dirty, smelly, small studio space. "The resort is beautiful. The views, the pool the beach everything is absolutely amazing. We came for our 10th wedding anniversary. We came during the week and it was very quiet and there was lots of room around the pool and beach. We checked out on Saturday and it was considerably busier compared to the rest of our time there. The buffet was lovely with lots of options that changed with breakfast, lunch and dinner. We were very happy with the food choices. We dined at the Italian one evening and the food was fabulous. The only draw back for us was the bedroom. Right above the bed was a fire alarm that constantly flashed a bright green light every few seconds making it challenging to sleep. As well the buffet was above our room and we were woken every morning by the chairs scraping across the floor. We were on the 4th floor in the main building. So while we had a lovely time at the resort it was not a restful one because we slept poorly."
