#FarawayFriday comes from somewhere so far away, even I’m not totally sure where it is! I know it’s somewhere between Chiang Rai and Phu Chi Fa - a viewpoint on the Thai-Lao border. I think it might be somewhere near Tap Tao, #Thailand 🇹🇭. It doesn’t really matter, though. The destination never does - it’s the #journey that counts!

"Great location and clean rooms. Mattress was very very firm and there was a lingering drain sewerage smell, just needed some bleach to clean the drain but I couldn’t find any for sale nearby. Staff were helpful and friendly. Toast and coffee in the morning was appreciated "

"Fabulous, Excelent service, Great breakfast, wonderful and helpful staff. Tours and taxi services they offer are less than what you find online. Tucked away in the heart of Chiang Rai is this hotel gem, Nak Nakara. This unique hotel has a blend of local old style architecture with all the conveniences of a modern hotel.
