Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
The property was indeed a newer, spacious and sun-filled home. The living room was large and it was in a residential neighbourhood.
What we found shocking, however, was that it lacked cleanliness. There was a pink, dirty ring around the bathtub and the drain, the bedsheets in one of the rooms had what looked to be a menstrual blood stain. When we went to use the coffee pot there were previous coffee grounds left in the filter that was growing mold, and there was mold on some of the plants. Outside on the back porch here was a steel bowl left out that had water and something else in it, with black insects swimming around in the water. There was no toaster which we would consider an item that is usually provided.
The lack of cleanliness detracted from what otherwise would have been a fairly nice home and made our stay less than desirable.
The lack of cleanliness is an issue that can be fixed and we would encourage the owner to do so.
