"Checked all our boxes clean, comfortable, convenient, safe, quiet. Immaculately clean, comfortable space & beds (plenty of blankets, pillows & towels), nice kitchen, Everything worked well, appreciated having 2 luggage racks & bedside tables on each side of the bed. Heat & hot water worked very well. Lamps weren't the greatest for reading but good enough. Wifi worked well except when there was a glitch that was NOT our host's fault, it was the provider's. Ironically our host tried to message us however, we didn't get cell service at the unit (we have Verizon, they said AT &T works well there) & of course didn't have wifi so we didn't get the message about the issue which was resolved relatively quickly but the point is, they did try to tell us about it & I knew we could just have gone upstairs and knocked on their door if we needed to. Only issue to be aware of is the driveway to the unit. The directions were clear however I will say, we were glad we had a mid-size rental car & not our little compact car we drive at home. Don't think it would have fared well w/the ruts and bumps and the steep driveway up. That said, it's a lovely view and you're definitely away from other people. We did hear some footsteps and vacuuming from the unit above but only momentarily and not problematic at all. We did some really nice hikes nearby in New River Gorge National Park. We were coming from the south & found it worked well to stop in Oak Hill at the well stocked Kroger for groceries."

"This little house was spotless and ready for whatever you needed. From paper plates and plastic ware, to pretty dishesn glasses, silverware. There is a perfect coffee nook with a very nice selection of coffees, snacks, chips. The couch is a dream, and so is the large, covered deck. Its up high and catches all the breeze.. The location is freaking cool. This little back road takes you to the house, and its such a cool drive. Its so peaceful. No traffic. Just the wind in the trees and birds singing. I loved this housen and the sweet people who own it. So many thoughtful touches. Excellent price. Excellent service. Excellent place. Thank you!!"

"Fabulous, large property which was perfect for our multi generational family vacation. Love the hot tub and fire pit. Lots of space inside to spread out, with games for kids and books for adults. The kitchen had everything we needed. Close to many hikes, welcome/info centers and spectacular views. Everything was 'well loved' but worked great-plenty of hot water. Would definitely choose this property again if in the area."

"The kitchen was not fully equipped for cooking. There were no useable pots or skillets. But it was advertised as dishes and utensils. I just assumed that there would be at least one pot or skillet. The internet was very spotty. We were not able to connect to the internet to watch tv and our phones cut out. The place was clean"
