"Our room was Yew and Eye, one of the newly built cabins in the garden of this historic inn with a twist. The design is like nothing we’ve ever seen before with surprises every way you look. The room itself has human eyeballs as a decorative theme which was fascinating and amusing. The standard double bed was extremely comfortable, there was plenty of useful storage and good ventilation. "Lovely hotel, and a good price for the facilities. There was a wedding in the hotel, and I am pleased to say the late night music didnt travel.
Good breakfast selection, being constantly replenished including GF options. Very handy as a stop off on the way to France. £6 overnight parking charge, but was very secure.

"The property was easy to get to via cab, I would not advise you to try and walk it as the road gets busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was large and spacious, only thing I didnt like was the room had no AC, but a Dyson fan was in full use.
The room had no fridge to put your water or drinks, no complementary biscuits, or herbal teas.
Other wise I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay."
