"The hotel was lovely, both in expected and unexpected ways. The coffee bar in the morning was superb, although I do wish they provided tea bags or coffee in the rooms. I didn't enjoy paying $3 per tea bag. That aside, the rooms were clean, the bed was unbelievably comfortable, the tv was huge, and the bath robes were a great touch. Additionally, the water pressure was great, and the bathrooms were designed with a beautiful towel and plenty of shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The room design itself was both charming and relaxing. I've heard people complain about dim rooms, but to be honest, this hotel isn't meant to be a Holiday Inn, and it's meant to be a bit more austere than that. The dimmed lights provided a much more smoky and old timey atmosphere that successfully mimicked a true French hotel. It's just down the street from some great food and drinks. The only staffing complaint is from one person who was short with me for interrupting his video when I came down to get tea. I called on the phone ahead of time and was asked to come down, and he had a serious attitude when I told him so. He was really short with me for something that was pretty trivial (especially considering they already cost $3 each), but I can't let that detract from the overall experience considering the fact that it was a brief inconvenience and I do consider myself to be thick skinned. Overall, I really look forward to coming back here in the future, preferably for a longer stay. 5 stars"

"Honestly, the stay was great. The beds are HARD and not comfortable at all-it was a long, sleepless night for me. We specially booked because of their outdoor pool-we have 4 kids-the outside pool has a 1ft area with a "mushroom" waterfall type thing-it did not work. The water slide was AWESOME! My 9 and 11 year old LOVED it! I enjoyed it myself too. Breakfast was fair/good. There were western omelets, chunked potatoes (they were not crispy, but very soggy), sliced kielbasa sauage, bread for toast and bagels, muffins, fruit, oatmeal-with toppings, milk-oatmilk-coconut milk and almond milk, 4 different juices, and 2 waffle makers. There was smores and vanilla flavored waffle mix. Honestly, the waffles made the whole breakfast. There were a few family friendly board games on a table in the lobby that guests were able to utilize-a first for my family! "

"Great location. Loads of shopping and dining within walking distance. The TN aquarium is directly across the street. The property is clean and well-maintained. Breakfast and dinner options within the hotel. The pool is very small. Check and check-out were quick and easy. Parking is not connected to the hotel. "
