"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. Top Tigné Hotel Reviews

Hotel du Mail

10/10 Excellent

"We stayed in a Superior Quadruple Room, on the first floor. No elevator, and parking is limited and cannot be reserved. So we arrived early (noon) and snagged the last available spot. Bed was comfortable, but the room was too small to even consider opening up the sofabed. Breakfast was good, but not as great as some other stays in France. Quiet at night. Very walkable to all attractions."

"A very enjoyable 4 days stay particularly as I was able to acquire a portable A/C unit from the very helpful reception staff - I arrived in 38C!! Located within walking distance of everything in beautiful Angers but very quiet as it’s in the University zone. There’s a supermarket minutes away as are lovely walks along the river to the château. The room itself was pristine and comfortable. Ticked all my boxes and hope to return again next year."
