"The room was in poor condition and significantly below the standard advertised. The air conditioning was broken, making the room very uncomfortable. The bathroom contained black mold in several locations, towels were stained, water pressure was weak, and water temperature was inconsistent. The sheets and towels were threadbare, lamps on the bedside tables were unusable because there were no nearby outlets, and the draperies had large holes. Overall, the property was shabby, dirty, and not as described on Hotels.com.
I brought these issues to the attention of the hotel staff, but they were rude and appeared unconcerned about the problems. No meaningful effort was made to address the situation. Neither hotels.com nor the staff would help me cancel with a refund. I was charged for 3 nights I didn't stay."
