"We stayed in the Avantgard apartment and while the location was great; right in the centre of the old town, within walking distance to many cafes, restaurants and shops, the apartment did have a few issues. It faces the main road so it was quite noisy throughout the night. The apartment itself is also very creaky, especially the loft where the bed is. "DO NOT GO HERE. THEY SCAMMED US. We texted the owner in advance and no one got back to us. We then called the number given and someone answered. They sold the apartment 6 years ago and the apartment is not theirs anymore so they are not sure why their number is still there. "Centrally located right off the main square so we could see the market and beautiful view of the mountain. The room was very spacious with a large bed. We loved the historical feel of the place but had all modern amenities. There were a couple steep flights of steps which didn’t bother us but if you have knee problems/heavy suitcase be mindful of. I wouldn’t say that’s a deal breaker as it was easy for me but flagging for others who may. Definitely would go back due to the beautiful rooms, friendly staff, and perfect location."
