We made a last minute change to a planned itinerary for a driving tour of Montenegro from Split. We were going to Budva first but many locals said Budva was not for us and suggested Tivat. Porto Palace was available and I arranged a 3 night stay. As it last minute we took what was available and had a low floor with no view. The rooms are apartments with full kitchens. I was there in the off season and the hotel was not crowded, but the staff was amazing and catered to every request and requests I didn't even make. There is no weight room and the pool is not heated, but the hotel is right on the beach near Porto Montenegro and everything is within walking distance that you will need including a grocery store, pharmacy, etc. Bus station is a quick taxi ride away. Beautiful new hotel!

Although it is located right off a very busy road (Kotor’s main thoroughfare), the bedroom windows have external shutters that greatly reduce the noise at night. We had no trouble sleeping. I stayed here with my family. It’s truly a home away from home with an amazing neighbour - Dusan and his wife, Apartment is spacious, kitchen has all that one would need at home. It has washing machine (no dryer), dish wash, iron, vaccum cleaner. Host continuously supplied us the towels and tissues. Location is an absolute centre with Kotor old town just 7/10 mins drive.
