"The town of Arklow is a quaint, quiet little town, very walkable, a river nearby. The Hotels proprietor was a very friendly, kind, helpful man. Check in at the bar was quick, room was nicely renovated, it could have been the time of year but it was VERY quiet in the upstairs area, I felt like I was the only one staying there. There was a bountiful, delicious breakfast the next morning, a full Irish breakfast and I had a lovely chat with the barkeep....he had been working there for 50 years...amazing! The only tiny criticism I had was that I couldn't get any hot water in the shower, could have been I didn't wait long enough or just old pipes, but a hot shower would have been nice. I would recommend! "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel. Spotlessly clean and lovely grounds. We had dinner at the restaurant where service was exceptional and food was great. Breakfast lovely. Staff were friendly and helpful. We informed the hotel it was our wedding anniversary and they provided sweet treats in the room which was really thoughtful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this hotel. "

"Wonderful only thing remote did not work to put on tv. A nice person arrived stating batteries might be low, fiddled with remote, finally got it working, not really explaining the fault after it was turned off it did not work again. Did not bother them again. Otherwise 💯 will go back"

"We love Woodenbridge Lodge. It is quiet and restful for golden oldies like us! The only thing that could be improved is the TV system. It seems a bit irritated. Thank you. "

"The Brooklodge is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are immaculate and lovely to walk around. It is a lovely old style building with a separate building called "brookhall" that has rooms and a geothermal pool. There is an amazing restaurant called the Strawberry tree restaurant, a great leisure centre. Overall, i think it is a little gem and off the beaten track but it is a must see. There is also a lovely quaint looking church beside a river stream-ideal for weddings. "
