"There are lots of good things to say about this hotel, but some weird/bad things too. The Good - Affordable for Tofino. Close to the water with views from the lobby. Nice rooms. A good restaurant. The Bad - There is almost always no one at the front desk. ALL the communication is by e-mail and not altogether. One email reminding you of the date. One e-mail with the WiFI password. One e-mail saying that their is a 10% discount at the restaurant if you are staying there (which I missed and paid full price. The halls can get noisy. The room was cozy but some amenities are lacking."

"The property is very cute! The room is spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I liked the large walk-in shower. The restaurant Roar is excellent."

"Room was cozy and bed was comfy but we could hear other guests through the walls. Place is generally quiet and it was easy to enjoy the sound of the waves on the beach. Loved the balcony with the view of the ocean. Breakfast was adequate and there were sources of protein as well as bread products. The water at the tea/coffee station could be a little hotter as it was difficult to steep tea. Our room did not have a kettle or microwave so was very basic. Good access with Tofino nearby or you can walk through the forest to Mackenzie beach for some dining options. Would gladly stay again."

"Parking was easy but there was no micro or burner in room they charged 100 $ extra just for a dirty pillow cover they was too much extra charged for dirty room and damaged thing but not damaged any thing"

"The hot tub was a perfect temperature, especially for the cold weather! It was also refilled each day so the water level never went too low. The only thing I'll say is the staff who checked us in wasn't very helpful or friendly in terms of explaining the amenities and the company processes (for example, how to get more towels). "

"Great location right on the waterfront with great views of the marina and the islands across the inlet. Overall it is quiet, comfortable, spacious with an easy walk to restaurants and stores in Tofino. Would definitely consider staying there again."
