Located just minutes from South Chesterman Beach and a short drive to Cox Bay, this inviting home is the perfect retreat for both surfing adventures and peaceful relaxation. Originally designed for a retired family embracing island life, the home exudes warmth and comfort, making you feel right at home from the moment you arrive.

The main floor features an open-concept kitchen, dining, and living area, seamlessly blending space for cooking, dining, and gathering. The living room includes a wood-burning fireplace, creating a cozy haven during storm season or on a typical rainy day in Tofino. There's also a cozy library stocked with books as well as music music options—a perfect spot to unwind. Step out onto the deck, where you’ll find an outdoor BBQ ideal for al fresco cooking and entertaining amidst the island’s natural beauty.

One of the standout features of this property is its spacious, well-equipped kitchen and generous open layout, perfect for entertaining. Upstairs, you’ll find all three bedrooms, each designed with comfort in mind. The master bedroom boasts an ensuite bathroom with a luxurious soaker tub, offering a private sanctuary. The two additional bedrooms share a bathroom with a large walk-in shower.

The second bedroom features a queen bed, while the third is a kid-friendly haven, furnished with two single beds, a play table, a rocking horse, and a TV with Apple access. Host Rules:

Renter's Agreement: Guests must sign the Renter's Agreement to confirm their reservation.

Age restrictions: must be 23 years or older to book

Guest Limit: As per Tofino Bylaws, a maximum of 6 guests (including babies and children) are allowed. If a reservation exceeds this limit, we reserve the right to ask the guests to leave.

During peak summer season (June 15 - Sept 15), 3 night minimum and all bookings must be back-to-back to avoid gaps.

3 night minimum stay for all Canadian Statutory Holidays.

Pet Policy: up to two dogs allowed, must be owner approved.

Please note: A long-term tenant lives on-site in a separate caretaker suite as per Tofino Bylaws.

Strict Quiet Hours: 10pm to 8am - please be respectful of the neighbours and locals!

Cancellation Policy: We offer a 30 day cancellation policy. If you provide us with the 30 or 60 days required notice you will receive a full refund. If you cancel without the required days notice you will not receive a refund for your reservation.

Accidental Damage Protection: Accidental Damage Protection is included in the total cost of your reservation—there is no additional fee after booking, as it is automatically applied at the time of purchase. This coverage protects against accidental damages up to $1,000 that may occur during your stay.
Please note: This protection does not apply to damages caused by parties, unauthorized events, or negligent behaviour. It is strictly intended for unintentional mishaps that may happen while you're staying in the home.

The property is a beautiful setting for relaxation and just peace. We didn’t want to leave the house ! The open area downstairs space is just right for having quiet conversations and just simply being together. The beach is minutes away and we didn’t have to worry about the traffic that went that. The area is quiet with very little traffic. Thank you !!

Great family home, open concept, plenty of games, good sized kitchen with almost everything you could need to cook/bake. (Minimal spices) A drive to most everything... but thats how tofino is set up.

Amazing home nestled on a quiet dead end street in Tofino. Did not want to leave the house at all! Felt right at home. Would definitely return.

Large spacious rooms. Close to amenities and walking distance to beach. Everything as described on VRBO. Would suggest a few more hand towels, and coffee mugs and glasses. Otherwise fully stocked house with practically everything you’d need.

The house is BEAUTIFUL. There was an amazing CD collection (creating much awe with my children!) and a great library. The property was private and very quiet. It's about a 1 km walk to Chesterman Beach. Great open concept and a well-stocked kitchen. We were very comfortable - it was hard to leave!

We had a great 3 night stay at Jensen's Bay Getaway. The home was modern and spacious with lots of windows. Though there is no water access, it is a wonderful place to relax and refresh. The beds were very comfy and there is an amazing collection of CDS and books to chill with. With the wood fire place, it would make a great spot to come storm watching. It is an easy walk to Chesterman beach and a 4 min drive to MacKenzie Beach. The bike trail is very handy. A return visit is definitely in the cards.

I didn't know what to expect in Tofino. We got in late and thought that I made a mistake coming to the island. The next morning we went out and quickly realized how much we were in proximity to everything. Downtown, beaches, restaurants. We were grandparents, parents and two grandchildren. Very conveniently located for the Pacific Rim National Park, all the fabulous beaches and Tofino’s Skate Park, kayaking and boat trip. We were quite comfortable and had everything we needed. Communication re: a couple of minor things was excellent. We found more than enough to do for 8 days. Also enjoyed the Ucluelet Aquarium!

This is a beautiful home, filled with an amazing CD collection, books, lots of communal space, fabulous kitchen, and all the things you need for little kiddos! I was so impressed that there were numerous high chairs, a crib, kids table and chairs upstairs. Our little crawler had lots of space to explore. The rooms are very spacious and could easily fit 6 people. Small view of the inlet, so we felt like we were kind of in the forest but still with lots of natural light.

The property was very clean and the communication with the property manager was great. The house is lovely and spacious and within good proximity to Tofino and a walk to chestermans beach. We had hoped that Jensen's bay would be accessible to get our kayaks in the water but it wasn't, I think we should have done more homework in that regard. Otherwise we had a good time.

This is a lovely and spacious rental. We had 4 adults, 2 young children and dog in tow and there was plenty of room for us all to mingle yet also have space when needed. Comfortable sleeping arrangements. The kitchen was well equipped for home cooked meals, including cooking oil and some seasonings. And lots of lextras - 2 high chairs and booster seats; plus a magnificent book, CD and puzzle collection that we really enjoyed. Centrally located, the rental was a quick 5 minute drive to Chesterman Beach, and even closer to nearby coffee shop/ stores. We recommend this as a great spot for a group or family stay!

Had a lovely stay at Jensen’s Bay getaway. The property is spacious and filled with lovely light at end of the day. The kitchen is really well equipped (only missing cocktail shaker and lemon juicer!). We loved perusing the book shelf and playing CDs from extensive library. Amazing bath products to clean up after beach days. The kids said a hot tub on back deck would make the place absolutely perfect. Communication with property manager was seamless. The power was out all day the day we checked in, so cleaning staff did the best they could and offered to come back. All in all would return in a heartbeat!

Good aspects: This spacious house is located in an excellent location close to beach. It is extremely clean, has a well stocked kitchen, nice fluffy towels, and the best collection of eclectic music CDs I have ever seen. Needs improvement: The back patio doors are extremely difficult to open. As noted in other reviews, the sofa and chair in the living room need to be replaced. The cushions will no longer stay in place, and they are both uncomfortable. In summary, we could not be happier with our lodging choice, and we hope to return soon.

Unfortunately this home is far too pricey for what you get, or I should say, don’t get. The living room furniture is old and seems to be outdoor patio furniture. It isn’t comfy at all and was covered in dog hair along with the carpets and everything else (I’m allergic and so I was sneezing and congested during our stay). The floors just didn’t seem to have been cleaned. The bathrooms are only half reno’d and very cheaply done, one of the handles fell off in the shower. There was some seating provided for the patio in the back but no blankets or cushions to bring out with us in the evenings or mornings. No welcome basket or book (there is a digital one but what if you don’t have reception or you’re visiting the country). We had issues with the wifi and the very small and old tv, when we did want to watch something in the evening we couldn’t get a hold of the owners for passwords (none of this was Rogers related as they use Telus). The property management company that came and helped was very communicative and kind so that was great, but overall we paid way too much for what we got.
