Rustic! Our room was eight wood and dirt steps from the covered lounge chairs on the beach with a beautiful view of the bay. It had a patio table that wobbled, a door lock that stuck, and painted concrete floors. The service was great and the staff was friendly. It was clean, peaceful, and relaxing. Just what we needed!

Nice staff, one of the things we knew Was that this is a third world country but during our week stay we learnt tourism is on a downward trajectory. This may be why we felt that there was just something missing. The location is excellent right on the beach. The restaurant had very limited times in the evening closing at 8pm so after our first night we opted for ones in the village ( some which are excellent and recommend Dorthenga for the food) we rarely saw anyone in the bar/restruant in the evening. The tables and chairs could be updated and the dining area more nicer. We was happy staying here but check out sleeping arrangements first we had a double bed room both beds being doubles but one was perched on a mezzanine floor that you had to climb a steep ladder and slide into bed as there was no walking area. This could easily be overcome as there was space for 2 beds on the ground floor. We did note that on arrival some of the information on Expedia was not what we found. On bringing this to the management attention we was informed they would correct their ad which we appreciated. Personally I think this hotel is more suited to backpackers not wanting to stay in hostels.

Sehr nette Unterkunft direkt am Strand

Die lodge liegt direkt am sehr schoenen Strand von Tofo, ich wuerde sage die beste lange von ganz Tofo. Die Lodge hat 2 seperate Haeuser mit verschiedenen Unterkunftsmoeglichkeiten. Die Unterkuenfte im Haupthaus sind sehr einfach und relativ Preiswert. Wir haben im Treehaus gewohnt, eine einfache Unterkunft auf dem Dach mit einer super Terrasse mit traumhaftem Blick auf den Strand, dies ist nicht zu toppen ! das Bad war leider eine Etage tiefer, sehr einfach aber sauber. Die Zimmer im anderen Haus haben wir leider nicht gesehen aber diese sind doch etwas neuer und moderner.

Semplicemente indimenticabile...e' uno dei pochi posti in mozambico dove valga la pena di andare! Laura la proprietaria e' una padrona di casa accogliente dinamica attenta e veramente fantastica che coadiuvata dal suo staff rende il soggiorno molto piu che piacevole
