Ryokans in Tokachi

The room was great. The food was great. The hot spring was clean and nice. I definitely repeat staying here.

we enjoyed our stay @ La Vista Akangawa very much. our main attraction was the Ainu fall festival and the hotel is close to town and the cruise dock. Breakfast & dinner were beyond our expectations.

We had a wonderful 3-nights stay at Lamp No Yado Moritsubetsu. We were two couples and took two Japanese-style rooms, both of which were spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel very welcome from the start. The setting is beautiful—peaceful, quiet, and surrounded by lush greenery. Our stay in the Kumoi has been nothing but great. Cozy rooms, beautiful lobby, clean onsen and lovely staff. We had both, breakfast and dinner, which always were delicious and prepared with care. We were told that there was wifi in the lobby only, but we had no problem connecting on the second floor. Would recommend!

Dated hotel, as are all the hotels in the area, but very well maintained. Staff were all superb and the food service was very efficient and tasty. Not Michelin starred, but neither is the cost.

The staff at the hotel were always very nice to us. From the moment we arrived to the hotel, they greeted us with a smile and walked us to our room. They explained the hours for dinner and breakfast and hot springs. After that, we went to have dinner. Dinner is really good if you're into Japanese food, there are few Western options but you're probably in Japan to enjoy the Japanese culture.
