Great rural spot close to town

Great spot to enjoy a rural setting but still be close to town. Everything you need in the container and the fenced area outside for the dog was great. The hosts were very friendly and the place was nice and private.

Lovely, quiet location - great hosts!

We loved the location, the hosts were very friendly and accommodating, and the accommodation was ideal for our two-night stay. We appreciated the little things like having tea/coffee/fruit bursts provided. We also loved the dogs, cats and birds that the owners have!

Rural Getaway

Very kind and accommodating hosts. Had all the kitchen and bathroom amenities we needed. Loved the rural setting with our bovine neighbors and lovely birdsong throughout the day. Had a wonderful stay and the town of Tokoroa has everything we needed for groceries, gas, etc.

Thanks! Really nice spot, small and cosy but has everything you need. Definitely appreciated having our dog with us, and the flexibility there. Fun morning tour through the aviary too! Thank you!

Tokoroa hideaway

We were looking for somewhere to stay with our two dogs, a Pomeranian and a Border Collie. This was perfect for what we needed, place for the dogs to do their business and comfortable for us. We were able to travel to Karangahake Gorge to do the amazing walk there and the following day to do some walks around Rotorua.

Pineapple Bliss in Tokoroa

Wife and I had a quiet, relaxing, enjoyable stay. Jan and Bill let us have our space, yet were warm and friendly for the brief moments we did get to chat. Enjoyed the peaceful and scenic rural setting. The space was simple, yet comfortable. Well stocked with amenities. I would stay again next time I’m traveling that way. Mahalo

Hosts were very pleasant and respectful. The sutdio was very accommodating for our stay. Peaceful

I booked this place as it was perfectly between my two destinations that was too long to drive for. I stayed one night but wish I could have stayed longer! Super easy to find. The cabin had everything you need. Perfect spot to take dogs to. Loved all the little touches such as variety of hot drinks, biscuits, milk in the fridge, lovely toiletries, parrot theme. The bed was super comfy and the whole place was spotless. Loved waking up to birdsong and watching the cows and ducks stroll past while sitting outside with my morning coffee. My dog had an awesome time too. I didn’t want to leave ! Thanks Jan & Bill!

The studio is a converted container and looks deceiving as inside it is well decked out , clean and warm and well appointed. Jan and Bill are lovely people and couldn't have done any more for us. The view was fab too. Well worth a visit.
