By day it's just another narrow alleyway common in Tokyo, but at night the street turns into a mini nightlife area for the salarymen of Tokyo. With numerous tiny #bar lining up, the nickname comes from the fact in the past so many drunk salarymen doing their "bussiness" there because there's no toilet anywhere in this alleyway. Today, regulation has been set in the area so it is a lot cleaner than before. The alleyway is very narrow and can only fit at maximum 2 people at a time so be mindful of your surrounding when visiting especially when there's many drunk people walking by from the bars. The bars are also very tiny and can only fit less than 10 people at a time. If you are not claustrophobic give them a try, it's a special experience on its own :)

Great location, uncomfortable sleep

This place says it can comfortably sleep 3, but neither the mattress nor futon were comfortable. Great location, and it was very clean, but would not stay here again unless the mattress or futon were updated. We were excited to leave to sleep in more comfortable beds.

I would say this was like living in an apartment and not in a hotel. It was amazing, the place was nice and clean and had a very nice sized fridge with a really nice kitchen. And don’t get me started on the bathing room. It was super nice and the bathtub was amazing especially when you had a long day off walking. The only down side is I was not to found of Shinjuku the prefecture it’s self it was pretty dirty and coming straight from Osaka where it was a lot more of a relaxing vibe, I would say I very disliked Shinjuku. But to each there own, too all so note I was by myself and feel like that if I had someone with me a would be a little better about walking the streets.
