I loved everything about The Gate Hotel Tokyo by Hulic. We were within less than 10 minutes walk to all the fancy shops and department store and food halls. Even better, we were surrounded by food alleys where locals meet up after work:) If walking is not your idea of fun, there is a metro entrance and taxi pickup literally outside the entrance door. Will definitely stay here again and highly recommend.

Only concern is hairdryer...

The only downside of this hotel was the hairdryer. For a 4-star hotel, I would expect a better quality hairdryer — the one provided was very small, with weak airflow, and the handle became uncomfortably hot after a short time of use. That being said, the hotel’s location is excellent, the staff were professional and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay, apart from the hairdryer issue.
