"We enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Sercotel Alfonso VI for two nights. The check-in was easy. We loved the size of the room, the linens, and nice view of the city. The location is in the center of town across the street from the Alcazar and one block from the main plaza. Our room was very large with a separate bath with toilet, 2 sinks, and combined tub and shower. The combined tub and shower was not very useful in our view. "The hotel staff are wonderful, very helpful, and pleasant, especially Angel, Erica, Juan & Lourdes. The breakfast was excellent-huge and fresh croissants, yogurt, Spanish ham, cheese, orange juice, and coffee. The streets are very narrow so you must drive carefully. It is best to drive a small car.
