"Very much in the Scottish theme! Sandy, our host had a great sense of humour & with good stories to share. He also had advice about where to eat & visit in Pictou. At breakfast he dressed up in his kilt to serve a delicious light breakfast prepared by both him & Cathy. We enjoyed our time there!"

"We are three Senior siblings who spend a week together every summer. We enjoyed the Northumberland Nook very much. It was clean, with lots of towels, a very well equipped kitchen and comfortable seating. The deck overlooking the water was our favourite place. The beach is a couple of minutes from the cottage. At high tide the swimming was wonderful. At low tide, we could walk the sand flats and enjoy the beach. The beds were comfortable and the extra half bath and the outside shower were handy! Air conditioning added to the experience as it was hot and humid a couple of the days we were there. Lighting in the great room is excellent. We could see the sun coming up and going down from the great room and the deck."
