"This hostel had a window and fan inside the spacious capsule with a foldable bed for more space. The kitchen was very clean and the laundry was free. Overall great hostel with adequate transportation near by, I would definitely book again."

"The guesthouse is quite nice, the dorm I stayed in is just 4 bunks, which is a good thing when staying is guesthouses. The showers were very clean for a shared situations. The location is in a charming district near Kyoto university. "For convenience you can’t beat the location inside the futuristic Kyoto train station. And if you’ve got a busy schedule of sightseeing the convenient bus station in front takes you to most places for less than $2. The hotel itself is still well maintained and the deluxe rooms w/ tower view are gorgeous. However we rated them 4* for service because we weren’t allowed to drop off bags in the room at 2:40 because check in was at 3:00. We decided to head off as most sights close at 5:00 & returned to hotel at 7:30 (after dinner) to pick up keys packet which had a lot of dinner special coupons which we would’ve used if we’d been allowed to check in. "
