"What a lovely vacation home! It's gorgeously done, and such a pretty porch/water view! We spent four days here fishing and just relaxing with our dog. Everything you need is truly at your disposal (great kitchen set up!) and the rooms are decorated exceptionally well and with fun, bright colors. Extra twin beds in each bedroom are so fun for kids. We felt at home instantly! There is a Brookshires just a few minutes away, so you can pick up needed groceries. Laura was an amazing host. We texted her several times and she answered immediately. The only surprise we had during our stay was that the neighbor's dog, a tiny Yorkie, is able to walk through the fence posts on the side of the house, and she greeted us on our porch steps the first evening. Our dog has issues with other dogs, so we were concerned. Laura talked to the neighbors, as did we, and they very nicely kept the dog out of our yard during the rest of our stay. Overall, a wonderful stay, superb home, and the very best host!"

"The elevator was not accessible for the 2nd floor to go down. Not a big deal but not fun either! I enjoyed my time in Athens for Homecoming and visit family and friends."

"The property was more impressive in person than the photos could depict. It's in a beautiful location on a peaceful finger of the lake, protected from the wind and chop on the larger part of the lake. Our group was three couples of old friends who stayed in the home during a holiday weekend. It was so nice sitting on the covered back patio enjoying the lake view and the sound of families playing and laughing together. If I didn't want a lake house before, I certainly do now! The living room was spacious and provided a great place for old friends to catch up. We didn't have an opportunity to use the kayaks, but the dock was a great place to spend a morning or evening fishing and taking in the peaceful environment. (Not that I caught anything...) The kitchen and dining area had everything we needed to make and enjoy great meals together, and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. The home was very clean and well kept. It rained almost 3" during the first day of our visit, and there was a little leak down the inside of one window in the master. When I notified the owner, she was quick to respond and thanked me for telling her. The leak posed no issue to our stay, I was more worried about damage to the home. I mention it because I was so impressed with the owner's very positive response and concern for our stay. If I can find another time when we're all available I'll certainly return for another reunion. I highly recommend for couples and families!"
