"We chose this house because of the location. It is quite remote, in a very small hamlet about 10km up narrow roads. Villaviciosa is a lovely small town and worth a walk around. The hamlet of Piedrafita is exactly that, a hamlet. We were hugely disappointed that the local bar/eatery had suffered a fire and was out of action for the foreseeable. "We had a very relaxing stay at Casa Sira, which is a beautifully restored traditional house with all the modern comforts. The house is well equipped, and tastefully furnished with everything you need, comfortable beds and wi-fi / Tv etc. It is set in the mountains with stunning scenery all around. "Zeer stijlvol ingericht huis. Ruim, schoon en alles wat aanwezig voor een fijne vakantie. Fijne houtkachel met voldoende hout die het hele huis verwarmd en veel sfeer brengt. Uitstekend werkende Wifi. Veel ruimte, goede bedden en ruim voldoende sanitair. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het terras. Communicatie met de host zeer vriendelijk en goed. Kortom een aanrader."

"Klein huisje, geschikt voor maximaal 2 personen. Voorzien van alle comfort. Goede uitvalsbasis om de streek te verkennen. De eigenaar is zeer behulpzaam en is altijd bereikbaar. Er is een klein tuintje waar je bij mooi weer kan inzitten met een mooi zicht op zee. Er is een goede douche, goede zetel, goed uitgeruste keuken en goede wifi. Het bed is smal maar goed. "Our stay was organised for the benefit to compete in the Sella descent kayak race. The accommodation is located in an ideal position, not too far away from the start of the race in Arriondas. Communication with Linda was excellent, and we will definitely be looking to stay again next year if we compete again the kayak race. "Tanto José Manuel, el propietario, como su mujer Susana estuvieron en todo momento pendientes de la reserva. Al llegar nos recibió ella y nos explicó la casa y nos enseñó las dependencias. La casa está muy bien ubicada cerca de Cangas de Onís, en un pueblo llamado Caño en el que se respira tranquilidad, que es lo que buscábamos. Además Susana nos comentó distinto lugares donde comer. Es una gran opción a tener en cuenta si repetimos destino. Os vais a sentir como en casa"

"This is a great property. The location is ideal. It’s close to everything in Ribedesella and still quiet. We were very comfortable here.(2 parents and 2 teenage children) I wish we would have stayed longer. We enjoyed the town and some of the adventures near by in Covadonga and Arriondes. This has been one of our favorite locations on this trip."
