"This was the best hotel that I have stayed in I think ever! Truly I have traveled many places and the stellar Ambiance of this hotel cannot be beaten. The breakfast is amazing as everyone else says. To be able to have an omelette each morning it's just wonderful because you end up spending all day out doing things and the protein just keeps you going. The fruit was always fresh the yogurt was the best I've had and of course the pastries were delicious. My favorite part of every morning was one of the staff and the breakfast room by the name of Taia and she helped us a great deal everyday trying to speak Italian since we are from america. The beds are the most comfortable and The View was wonderful we had room 407 I highly recommend you request it but just don't request it when we're coming back! Which in all honesty would be every stinking year if I could afford it! The walkability to Riva everyday was beautiful! We did jump in the pool once and it was pretty chilly even though it was heated but it is October after all. I highly recommend this hotel and I would definitely stay here again and again and again."

"This is probably my favorite hotel in Italy. It’s close to the center with lots of shopping but on the other side of the hotel is a quiet spa like resort that overlooks the lake and mountains. The property grounds are incredibly beautiful and peaceful. There’s an adult pool, a family pool and an indoor pool. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff is incredibly polite and helpful and someone is constantly cleaning the hotel areas. If staying here, I would recommend booking the Superior room at minimum since the are located in the main part of the hotel and are newer. If on a budget, there are cheaper rooms but they are older and in a different part of the hotel, also they don’t include breakfast or free access to SPA amenities. For families with younger kids, the bungalows seemed like a perfect choice. Oh traveling to this area, this hotel is a MUST! You will not be disappointed! "

"We had an amazing stay at Hotel Benaco as a family of four (2 adults + 2 kids). From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and relaxed. The breakfast was just perfect, fresh, tasty, and with lots of choice, something for everyone in the family. The hotel’s restaurant is an absolute gem, easily one of the best meals we had during our trip, delicious food, beautifully presented, and a great atmosphere. The location couldn’t be better. Right by Lake Garda, it’s the ideal base for exploring, walking around, and soaking up the scenery. What really made the difference was the friendly staff and the overall vibe of the place, cozy, warm, and genuinely caring. We absolutely loved our stay here and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone who wants to enjoy the best of Lake Garda!"

"Beautiful hotel. A five minute walk from the train station. A five minute walk to the Buonsiglio Castle. A ten minute walk to the cathedral and diocesan museum. Great shower with rainfall fixture and good water pressure. Had a large window which could be opened for fresh air. And quiet. "

"The best thing about the hotel was the breakfast, it was fantastic. It had hot and cold items, real honeycomb, baked goods, multiple types of yogurt, and coffee machines. The pool was nice enough, and the loungers were good and comfortable. It is a busy area, and the hotel does what it can for guests, and did provide parking for our wheelchair needs (but it wasn't designated). The cleaning staff was great, and the bar was a nice option if you want something by the pool. The room has a nice balcony, but only a few have views (the outside rooms), we had to complain about the AC, and it was addressed, but the system is too old, and it only does so much. The TV was ancient, and couldn't attach to any devices. Basically the staff was great, and do their best for an older hotel, but the facilities need to be updated for us to come back."
