3.0 star property
San Salvario
7.6 out of 10, Good, (9 reviews)
"The room was relatively clean, we stayed for 5 nights and was cleaned the first two days. I did request some new towels and someone did get me some which was helpful. The shower wasn’t the best, there was a rainfall shower which was ok but did squirt water all over. There was another shower head which didn’t work at all. The shower screen wasn’t the best so water did leak through (hence why I needed more towels). There is a TV with Netflix which was great. There is a kettle and coffee machine...

"We stayed at Magazzini San Domenico for one night, our first night of a two week tour around Italy. We couldn't find it initially, but the owner came out and found us! He couldn't have been more accommodating. The room was beautifully designed, very comfortable and quiet, but also right in the centre of Turin. We were travelling by train to our next destination the next day, but not until the afternoon. The owner was apologetic that we had to vacate our room by 12 (due to the next guests...

Turin Palace Hotel True Stay

Turin Palace Hotel True Stay

8/10 Good
"This hotel is situated in Central Turin adjacent to the Porto Nuovo station, although you do not hear any noise from there. It is ideally suited for transport links with trains, the metro, trams, buses and taxi rank all within a minute or so walk. The main shopping areas and piazzas are also within easy walking distance, as are many museums and important buildings. The hotel itself is beautifully presented and the staff are very friendly and speak English really well. The rooms are spacious and clean with excellent ensuites. There is also a spa (extra cost) area and small gym, although even with a wall mounted aircon unit it was rather warm. Whilst the breakfasts are plentiful the hot selection is rather limited and there needs to be a little more urgency at replenishing items when they are running out. The only other downside is that the lifts are relatively modest and are used by guests and staff alike. Whilst the staff, who are usually moving items around the hotel to service guest rooms, are always willing to let guests use the lifts first it does mean that sometimes there is a longer wait for the lift to arrive."
