Super experience

The stay was wonderfull in a calm area. Good pool and super room with a good firm bed. We had the menu in the restaurant Nube and a red wine from Valbusenda winery, Vivo 2011. Very good. It was a good experience. The only thing was that we after the dinner asked for a wine from the winecard but not the house and they did not have it. We asked for 4 different wines on their winecard and they did not have them. The parking was free and in the cellar and when leaving we got cold water for our trip.

From the moment we arrived at hotel, which was almost midnight, we were treated like family. The warmth and attentiveness of Alberto made our first night unforgettable. We were welcome by two drinks and Alberto set up the perfect temperature of our room to our like. During our visit, I unfortunately got stung by a wasp, but the way the hotel mobilized to assist me was truly remarkable. They quickly provided a tweezer to remove the stinger, applied alcohol, and even offered mud from the spa to soothe the pain. The staff kept checking on me, making us feel cared for and loved. The accommodations were impeccable. Our room was clean, spacious, and featured the most comfortable mattress, ensuring a restful stay. We also enjoyed an excellent selection of ambient music that added to the relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Lorena and Belén at the front desk—they exemplified true hospitality, helping us store our locally purchased cheese and chocolate and booking all our activities since our Spanish is not proficient. The spa was a highlight of our trip, offering various treatment pools and saunas that left us feeling rejuvenated. One of the most memorable experiences was the wine tour led by Mr. Mogul. His passion for winemaking shone through as he spent nearly three hours guiding us through the process and allowing us to taste some outstanding wines from this amazing winery. 100% recommend it to anyone! And thanks to all staff and the business owners!

Dated hotel, hidden costs, average experience

Beware if you’re booking this hotel, spa isn’t included in the price and they demand 45 euros per person to access it. Otherwise, the hotel is average and a little dated inside. Their restaurant looks high-end but food is served poorly. Our starter and mains were cold inside as though they took the meal out of a fridge and didn’t heat throughly. Communication with staff is average, language barrier gets in the way if you’re not a Spanish speaker. Overall, not recommended.

Para ser un cinco estrellas, el restaurante por la noche no tenían cocina solo los platos preparados, la camarera tenía 19 años y no ponía platos, en la habitación, las cascadas, tanto de la ducha, como de los lavabos, salpicaban muchísimo, y las toallas debajo del lavabo estaban empapadas.

Prachtig modern hotel midden de Toro wijnstreek. Heel groot gebouw met alle faciliteiten wat je maar kan denken, prachtige Spa en zwembad. Grote ondergrondse parking , lekker en uitgebreid ontbijtbuffet en goed restaurant. Enig minpuntje ( als dat al een minpunt is ) : héél weinig andere mensen voor zo'n groot en mooi complex !

Para volver, sin duda.

Magnífico hotel, muy bien atendido, en la vega del Río Duero. Ideal para descansar. Fantástico spa (conozco muchos). El número de habitaciones del hotel es el ideal para que todas las estancias comunes del mismo esten agradables. Es servicio, inmejorable. Fantástico restaurante con una carta breve pero de excelente calidad. Las vistas, apropiadas para u hotel en el que buscas tranquilidad: una interminable vega de cultivos y al fondo, sobre una elevación, la ciudad de Toro, a unos 10 km. Sólo puedo hacer notar que la zona de dormitorio de la habitación era justita, aunque la cama es muy cómoda y hay carta de almohadas.

Amazing relaxing hotel in the countryside

We had a fantastic 2 night stay here on our way back to catch the ferry from Santander. Driving up to it has a real 'wow' factor and the design of the structure continues from the impressive facade all the way through the hotel. We felt like we were the only guests and had the run of the spa/ pool zone to ourselves for a whole day. The restaurant was high quality although a little expensive so the 2nd night we went into beautiful Toro about 10 minutes drive away where there are plenty of great traditional restaurants.
