The location was excellent for what we needed - within walking distance to Rogers Centre, Aquarium and the CN Tower. The view of the airport was also very cool. We felt very safe while staying here and would definitely stay again.

Our stay was really great. The place was clean, centrally located and had all the amenities you need for your stay. Please maintain the standard! Only one thing to improve: The blinds on the windows were not the size of the windows, due to which it was not easy to sleep during daylight.

The view was spectacular! The kitchen was wrll equiped. It could be a little more clean or updated and I could have used more storage in the bathrooms.The beds and linens were very comfortable and overall, it's a very convenient place to stay.

Our family of four, with two boys aged 16 and 13, wanted to spend a night in Toronto, and this condo was the perfect choice! My boys thought it was such a cool place to stay, especially with the amazing view. We loved being so close to everything and being able to walk to all the nearby attractions. It made exploring Toronto so easy and enjoyable. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back!

Perfect location downtown, walking distance to everything you could need. Very clean, functional space for travellers. Hosts were quick to reply and check that we arrived and had everything we needed. There was an additional security deposit not mentioned at time of booking but seemingly standard practice. The elevator wait time was very long but to be expected with a large amount of Jays game attendees staying in the same building. Definitely a great place to stay for a downtown Toronto trip and we will be back.

The location was excellent, but the elevators were very busy and some of the wait times were quite long, especially since one elevator was out of service. The check-in process took a bit of time. Also, when I went to the parking space I had paid for, there was already a car parked in it; however, the host was readily available and accommodated me quickly.My suggestion to future guests is to be patient and give yourself plenty of time to get the key and get parked—don't let the process ruin your stay. The building is well-used and starting to show its age, but overall it was a great experience for our short stay. The view from the 44th floor was absolutely incredible!

The room was clean and had most things that you needed but the kitchen was not as stocked as it could be with a few things to cook basic meals. There was foldgers ground coffee for the drip coffee machine but also a keurig but no pods. Sugar was provided but no creamer or milk packets. Basic necessities like towels were available and extra bedding if needed. Unit could use some TLC in terms of walls and a fresh coat of paint or more attention to detail for cleaning. There was still toothpaste on the walls and other stains in the bathroom walls. Had basic shampoo, conditioner and body soap. Overall it had exactly what I needed to stay as I was only there for two nights for a conference but for two people it might have lacked a few things. Check in was smooth and easy and communicate was quick. The bedding was comfy and clean but all the pillows were too high so a few flatter pillows might be nicer options for guests who have different neck/backs.

Overall the suite was exactly as listed. It’s approximately 550-600 sq ft. Two fairly tight bedrooms due to the queen beds, but comfortable beds and the pullout couch is fairly comfortable as well. Only drawback is the beds are approx 14-16 inches off the floor. So if you have any mobility issues you may be annoyed and challenged. Location, location was excellent. Walking distance to every popular area. A 20 minute walk is about 8 blocks, so don’t be afraid to walk. Local shops, LCBO all bonuses. Best local attractions is the waterfront! Do yourself a favor and rent a bike and ride the waterfront. Final thoughts on The York St Suites (aka) Ice Condominiums. The bldg was super busy, but the elevators were quick. It was relatively quiet so sleeping was fine. All amenities were present and in good working order and the water pressure was awesome for a high rise. Special note: The suite nor the bathrooms are wheelchair friendly. So if you have a disability requiring a wheelchair, shower chair, bench etc this isn’t the place for you. I would stay here again no problem !!

Was not a huge fan of this place. The rooms did not look like the pictures. It was dirty and dingy, the place had this weird smell that was super strong. It kind of smelt like cat pee but I think it was the cleaning products they used. Property was pretty sketchy, we did not feel safe here. While waiting to obtain our keys, there was a group of young girls also staying at the property that were super distressed because they found a random man standing in their room 😵‍💫 Security was not good, people just walking in and out and going in despite not having key fobs. Upon googling the property, it’s clear this place has a bad reputation. Wish I checked beforehand. The only positives I can give this place are that the check-in process wasn’t as bad as I anticipated given the reviews, and the location is really good. I would not stay at this place again, just did not feel safe.

First off, this is listed as a "luxury " property, it most certainly IS NOT!! We were grossed out by the disgusting stained and dirty carpets in both bedrooms!!! And there is absolutely no where to put any luggage, I used a kitchen chair and a mop bucket, then threw a towel on the floor for our carry on. I NEVER put luggage on a floor no matter how clean the place is and this one was the worst we've ever seen. Ever heard of a luggage rack?? Plenty of room for 1 or more in each room. Microwave was dirty, there was a hair inthe cutlery drawer balcony windows haven't been washed in I dont know how long, the grove in the balcony door was full of crud. Now in the main bathroom, not a hook, a towel bar by the sink, absolutely no where to put toiletries except on top of the toilet. The ensuite toilet seat was hanging one by one screw. The hardwood floors were badly scratched which did not affect our stay. Upon complaining about the situation the host said they were going to escalate it to management but until today we haven't heard a thing from them. They offered to come do a deep clean while we were there, but how does one shampoo carpets while being occupied. We stayed for 4 nights and just put up with it The suite was suitable for 2 couples and a child, was sufficient room, was nice to have a kitchenette. It is very well situated close to Roger's center and CN tower all within a short walk. I would stay in this building again, but avoid suite 308! NOT RECOMMENDED
