Overall, nice room with a good view. Staff were very nice. I always stay here when I need to go to downtown Toronto. One issue was the elevator, which took a very long time. There were also no signs outside the elevator to inform you which level the elevator is at so you just have to wait near the elevator.

The hotel is in an awesome location. Close to everything, restaurants, shopping, events, it was awesome. The Teller Bar has a great vibe and great staff. The Daily Ritual has an amazing assortment of breakfast items and the coffee is delicious with amazing sweet staff. The room was great.

I was incredibly impressed by the level of service. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I was at this location during the huge storm that hit Toronto and it set the fire alarm off for quite a while. I understand that this is beyond the control of the staff, who communicated clearly and regularly. As for the stay, I had a free breakfast through the lobby restaurant and it was excellent and the staff were great. I appreciate that the room had a kettle and other small touches that make it much more comfortable. I've stayed at this location several times over the years and I know I'll have a great stay when I'm there.

Positives: great location; spacious room; great room; comfortable bed; friendly staff; convenient self-park options (with ev charging stations) adjacent to the hotel; 11am regular checkout time. Negatives: veeery slow elevators; “tired” room (e.g., cabinets that didn’t close properly because of loose hinges, extensive staining on the carpet - badly hidden with extra furniture, couches that had lost all plushness, pullout couch mattress that had seen better days).

I like this hotel for its location, as well as for the comfortable suites. On this stay, my room had a very noisy ventilation system and I could not find any way to turn it down. It kept roaring on throughout the night and was disruptive. Otherwise, the room was clean, comfortable and convenient.

Good place to stay at and close to transportation. Parking lot is valet for about $60 for one night. It is best to park in a court right beside it, which is close by for $12 for 12 hrs during the weekends. And you could take a voucher from the hotel for 10%.

Every time I stay here, I have the best experience. The service is consistently exceptional—they upgrade me whenever they can, accommodate early check-in and late checkout when possible, and always make you feel well taken care of. The lobby is classic, cool, and has such a great vibe, especially with a DJ on Thursday nights. Always a great stay! Only negative is the wait time at the elevators but given it was an old bank, it was obviously not retrofitted for this many guests.

We had a suite which was perfect for staying with a toddler as it had a fridge, washing machine and cook top. Location was perfect, hotel had an entrance to the PATH which was perfect getting to and from union station. Would stay here again without hesitation.
