"What we liked - It was a comfortable King bedroom with small kitchen sink area, dining table, sofa, computer desk and had refrigerator with Microwave. The hotel is within 10 to 15 mins drive from the Lax airport and has a Costco located within 5 minutes drive from it. So you get cheapest gas if you have the membership. What we didn't like - The hotel room seems old as the carpet looked very old, the room has strange odor, and room AC didn't seem to actually cool the room as you would normally expect it to. Keep in mind - Even though this hotel is near the airport away from LA downtown, they still charge you car parking rate of about 25$ including tax per night. So factor this in when reserving. "

"Gorgeous ocean view from our balcony and decent location if you can drive to Hermosa or Manhattan Beaches. Beds were comfy. We had 3 in the room (reserved that) but only 2 towels, 2 coffee cups, etc. Bath was always steamy as no fan and door closed itself. Outside doors were very heavy and LOUD when close so it was a bit noisy. Extra fee parking was good and convenient."

"The staff was extremely rude upon check in. We were told the room had air conditioning and could sleep 5, but upon arrival there was 1 king bed and 1 queen. When I asked where our 5th person was supposed to sleep, as we were charged $20 for having an extra person (and ok ages were input so you could easily see we had no infants or children under 5) I was told to pay $30 extra for a roll away bed. Then the air conditioning in the room kept showing an error code and did not work our entire stay. There was only 2 towels in the room and the hand soap was empty. When we asked for more the gentleman rudely rolled his eyes, slammed the door behind him and then brought the items back to me. We had stayed here before with no problems or issues but this time was so unpleasant we definitely won’t be back. So to recap, we have rude guest services, an AC that did not work, not enough towels, empty hand soap, and treated like an inconvenience when they didn’t make the room up properly. Do better Sir. As a business owner myself, this is not how you get return customers. "

"My husband and I loved this hotel! We went with our 6 month old and she absolutely loved it! Room was clean and we were so close to many things to do as a family! Highly recommend! "

"The room was decently clean but very spacious. My issue was with the shower where I could see a couple pieces of hair on the walls which to me says they didn’t clean it well. Other than that everything else was fairly clean. No issue with the reception staff. HOWEVER, My main reason for losing a star is because the housekeeping staff was extremely loud in the morning, I’m talking 7-9, and the walls are not thick so I could hear EVERY word! Breakfast is offered but I did not eat it but still gave a star for the choice. Luckily there’s also a gelsons literally right across the street! They also provide a mini fridge which was really nice to have. I would suggest this place if you’re literally only gonna be there to sleep, get ready and then leave. If your a person like me who likes to chill for a long time in their room, I would suggest another place. However, it’s very close to the beach and good for people traveling with a car since the provide free parking. Also my only other complaint is that the lights above the bed are connected to the outlet plug. So when I turn off the lights, my charging also stopped. Not a big deal but just a weird set up. Also my tv remote didn’t work at all which was annoying but not a big deal since I was only there one night. Would give this place an overall a 3.2/5."
