Our bags were taken to our room and we had a welcome drink on the terrace overlooking the spectacular Douro Valley. We joined other guests for a family style meal and enjoyed getting to know people from many different countries. Amazing place to relax, appreciate the area, with a wonderful team to help with questions and make the visit super comfortable."

The included breakfast was delicious and substantial, and the dinner we had there was quite good. It's a bit of a walk into town, but we were a group of four seniors and we managed fine. We took a cab back up to the property.
