"Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor — The Castle of Good Love — is aptly named. The original fortress dates back to the 11th century, and in the 14th century it was transformed into a palace. Today, it offers guests a unique opportunity to step back in time while enjoying historic rooms equipped with modern conveniences.
Dining in the restaurant — located in the original dungeon — was a highlight. The food was excellent and moderately priced, adding to the overall value of the stay.

"Good, no frills hotel at a decent price. Bed, bath, size all fine, clean. There is a good bar (and restaurant maybe) attached to the hotel that is popular with the locals and less touristy than most. Plenty of street parking. Just outside the main tourist area (3-5 mins walk to Alcazar). "
"The reason for the terrible rating is - No meal at the Hotel so I ask the reception where I could eat, they pointed me in the direction of a local bar. Had something to eat there at 21:00hrs and by 23:00hrs I was having terrible stomach pains. (before eating at this bar I had had a continental breakfast before leaving the ship at Bilbao)
