"The hotel and hotel staff were excellent. The breakfast is outstanding! Our only issue was with Hotels.com who sent us several messages from the hotel highlighting trips and visits we could take. The did not pass on requests from the hotel to confirm our arrival time. As they did not have our telephone number, they could not contact us directly so this took a while to resolve."

"We chose this hotel because of the onsite parking. It’s on the outskirts of the city and cost about 9€ in a taxi to get to the centre. It looks like a basic motel from the outside but the inside is lovely, nicely furnished. It’s clean, comfortable and the bathroom was modern. We enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of choice. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful"

"What an amazing hotel this ex-convent is. I can't think anytime to criticize. The check-in staff was friendliest ever and it all just went efficiently and as planned. Amongst the Paradores we have visited, the Plasencua may be our new favorite."

"The receptionist at check-in was amazing. The room was lovely. The restaurant was okay but nothing amazing. The location was off the beaten track but that suited me. A lovely place to relax for an afternoon."

"Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. Plasencia is abit of a dump but this hotel is a wonderful oasis. We stayed with our dogs. They had a big bed and bowls and nibbles welcoming them. We had a stunning suite. Loved our stay there"
