"Lovely quiet hotel. Very friendly staff. Really nice pool with sun loungers. Not too busy. Delicious breakfasts. Doesn't feel like a chain hotel, and lovely spot on the hill overlooking the town but 10 min walk to beach"

"Meliá Cala Galdana offers an expensive stay that doesn't quite justify the cost. If you love a massive, high-energy "cruise ship on land" vibe like Club Med, you’ll appreciate it. The activities for kids and adults are exceptionally well thought out, the outdoor gym is a nice touch, the junior suite is lovely, and the breakfast is excellent. That's where It stops.
The operational flaws are hard to ignore compared to nearby boutique hotels:
