Dña Monse Hotel Spa & Golf

"A mixed bag. Close to being great but fell down in key areas. The rooftop area is great but service at the bar surly and slow. Music not chilled enough. Breakfast is a good spread but hotplate does not keep food hot enough. No service at all. Running out of bowls every morning then going to find someone who eventually and not too willingly turned up with three bowls. Reception team were great. Spa was pretty good."

Hotel Cano

"The Cano was a marvellous hotel providing everything a weary traveller could need, if not want. I had requested a room with a balcony, and that is what we got. The room itself was quite small, but it was very functional and the beds were very comfortable, and with the excellent air conditioning a good night's sleep was assured. Bathroom included shower and bath and even provided enough basic toiletries and toilet rolls for a couple of days. While we didn't avail of the breakfast (too early for us!), the area was bang in the middle of various top notch eating houses and a very large supermarket about 100 metres up the road. The towns main bus station was also a two minute walk up the road. In closing, this was a great hotel that I would have no trouble in recommending to anyone, and I'm already looking forward to a return visit in the near future."

Hotel Masa International

"I've stayed at this hotel before and it suits me perfectly. Towards the end of September is the time I go to a function at a nearby hotel but prefer to board at Masa because it has a peaceful atmosphere. At the height of day there were two in the pool. Hope to visit this hotel again soon"

"Having read other reviews, I was prepared for the worst but all in all happy with my 3 night (solo) stay. Apartment lovely for price, clean bathroom and large comfortable dbl bed, towels and linen all good. Fairly well equipped kitchen with hob and micro, fridge freezer (no oven). Nice living/dining area but sofa a bit grubby. Balcony however a different story...very dirty with old furniture, peeling paint, hanging cables etc. a pity as the marina and bay view pretty. No cleaning over 3 days but brush & mop supplied. Some reception staff rude but night porter charming when I needed help. Onsite supermarket now closed so shops are a good 15 walk into town."

"My wife was unable to get to the swimming pool area due to having to climb down steps and there is no ramp. Parking is only street parking"
