Detailed instructions for all things in the apartment. Plenty of linen and towels. The apartment has a beautiful view of the lake, which is also a wonderful place for bird watching."

"Avoid this place at all costs! These are the rudest and most inconsiderate people you could ever encounter. My train from Venice was delayed for an hour, which caused me to miss my connection in Florence and arrive two hours late. Even though I informed them about the situation and the trouble we were going through, they called me disrespectful, canceled my reservation as a “no-show,” and charged me a penalty — leaving me, my husband, and my son stranded in the middle of nowhere without a place to stay for the night. I am deeply grateful to the kind local people who helped us, but I would never recommend anyone to stay here. I’ll make sure my experience is shared everywhere tourists might look, so no one else goes through this nightmare. I felt robbed and mistreated — especially shocking in a region known for its warmth and hospitality. "

"We had a lovely week in this very spacious house. It was very good to have 6 bedrooms, all of which were ensuite. The kitchen is very well equipped with lots of big pots and pans, and had plenty of plates and glasses. It was very easy to cook big meals and all sit very comfortably around the long dining table. The swimming pool is a very good size and has lots of shaded areas around it. Unfortunately there were lots of mosquitoes and horseflies which comes with living in the countryside in a hot country. A hardly used road separates the house from the swimming pool area but it is very safe even for children as there were hardly any cars going by while we stayed there. The house is an old monastery attached to a small church so the bells provide a lovely touch. The owners were wonderful and very helpful. Thank you for a very pleasant stay."

"This was a location and villa with private pool of our dreams. It has everything you can want for a traditional Italian experience. The views are beautiful day and night. The villa is spacious inside and out set on a large picturesque plot. If you want rustic, quiet and authentic, this is the place for you. Situated only a few minutes drive from San Feliciano with plenty of activities and restaurants for a typically quiet holiday. The host and his two golden retrievers live upstairs. If you love dogs they will make your holiday complete. We took our dog and she had unlimited access to the land and property. Massimo is a quiet,Kind and private person. He is totally willing to offer help and guidance if you ask him. However If you just want to make the best of everything available and do your own thing he is totally respectful. We would recommend the villa and location to anyone wanting a true experience of Italy. "
