Heaven on Earth. Every single detail of our stay was attentively cared for. Since before you arrive they make sure you’ll get the experience of a lifetime. And they do deliver. The room is impeccable, the staff knows you by name since day one (without ever having met them). We will eternally be grateful for everyone in this place. One unexpected good surprise were the many local activities you can do during your stay (we had tuscany cooking class and even a private room massage). For me, this will be the standard of excellence by which to compare all others from now on.

Magnificent Lupaia will forever remain a dream holiday for us in the most beautiful, serene and picturesque location. It's hard to imagine you can call staying at a property with the nightly rates that are being charged here as good value, but amazingly it is. This is by far the best property I have ever had the joy of staying at, the attention to detail is second to none. All of the staff are amazing and make the stay feel like you're part of a family, you can spend all day just wandering around the grounds there are so many little details to find and the pool is to die for. The nightly dinners are some of the best you'll ever have, and the breakfast is a whole other level. Rooms are immaculate, feel like the level of luxury you'd expect for the price, but manages to feel really homely and not souless like some higher end properties can often become. Only bad thing I can say is that we spent 3 weeks in Italy after this stay and it ruined the rest of the trip for us because nothing can compare to this property. We stayed at other villas in Tuscany with similar ratings/price tags but Lupaia just has something else that the others can't replicate.

Heaven in Tuscany

My partner and I stayed at the heavenly Lupaia to start our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The incredible attention to detail did not go unnoticed. There are no words to describe the beauty of Lupaia! The restaurant, the premises, the room.. everything was perfect. The service was optimal and so much attention to detail. Lupaia was the most beautiful place my husband and I both have ever visited. We are so happy we chose Lupaia to spend a few days during our honeymoon and we wish we would have reserved to stay even longer. The entire experience was magical, from the welcome aperitivo with the views from one of the gardens, to the meals cooked in their wonderful kitchen in front of you, to the fireplace in the game room and the coziness in every corner of this property. We loved our standard room. Each room has it's little private garden and seating area, the rooms are extremely clean, well decorated and have absolutely everything you would need. I can't say enough wonderful things about our entire stay and the kindness you are treated with from the very beginning. A definite five star experience. We caught every sunrise and sunset, our breakfasts and all meals were delightful and there was plenty to do on property and nearby. If you are undecided about staying here, this is your sign to just book it before it gets snagged up for your dates.

Wow, what an amazing stay. This place is beautiful but is also comfortable and employs the best people. The dining staff and chef are exceptional, as is the front of house who helps plan day trips and takes care of an of your needs. Can't wait to go back.

This hotel is absolutely amazing. As soon as you arrive you appreciate the stunning location and the beauty of its lovely gardens. You are given a personal guided tour of the grounds and a welcoming drink. The rooms are excellently presented with their own outdoor space. There are only 12 rooms so the very friendly staff know you personally. Food and service is first class as well. We could not fault anything. Very highly recommend.

Lupaia is truly incredible! It is a sanctuary overlooking the rolling hills of Tuscany. It is so picturesque and was exactly what my husband and I pictured for our honeymoon. Christopher and Heidi are lovely and make you feel right at home. We plan to go back for our anniversary next year and stay for longer! Highly recommend staying at least 3 nights!

Lupaia is a fantastic place to enjoy and relax. The service is exceptionally friendly and courteous. Those who love the Tuscany will especially like this place and the charming hotel. We spent five days in the Holy Week and appreciated the peace and intimacy of the nice hotel. The hotel is a great starting point for excursions. We were particularly amazed about Assisi.

Will definitely come back one day

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights during our Honeymoon. The view of Montepulciano from our room was amazing. The property and rooms have this rustic vibe that give it a warm and welcoming feeling. The staff was phenomenal. The breakfast was exactly what we needed each morning; I would pay 20 Euro but its included in the price. We ate dinner in the dining room both nights; some of the best food we had in Italy. It was nice getting to know other people/couples at the hotel as well. Wish it was warmer out so we could use the pool; we did have some cocktails brought to us so we could enjoy the scenery. If youre staying in the Montepulciano area, I would stop looking at other places and book here immediately.
